Nominaciones al Oscar 2010

El día de hoy se dieron a conocer los nominados al Oscar, los cuales fueron presentados por la actriz Anne Hathaway y el presidente de la Academia de Hollywood, Tom Sherak.

Por primera vez en la historia del Oscar, se incluyeron 10 títulos nominados para mejor película, dentro de los cuales están: “Avatar”, de James Cameron, “District 9”, de Neill Blomkamp; el filme animado “Up”, de Pete Docter; dos cintas de guerra “The Hurt Locker”, de Kathryn Bigelow, e “Inglourious Basterds”, de Quentin Tarantino.

También llegaron a esta nominación como era de esperarse “Precious”, de Lee Daniels y “Up in the Air”, de Jason Reitman; sin embargo, hubo historias que no se creían estarían incluidas y lo consiguieron tal y como son “An Education”, de Lone Scherfig; “A Serious Man”, de Joel y Ethan Coen, y “The Blind Side”, de John Lee Hancock.

Los nominados a Mejor Director fueron los esperados: James Cameron por “Avatar”, Kathryn Bigelow por “The Hurt Locker”, Lee Daniels por “Precious”, Quentin Tarantino por “Inglourious Basterds” y Jason Reitman por “Up in the Air”.

Las nominadas a Mejor Actriz son Sandra Bullock por “The Blind Side”, Helen Mirren por “The Last Station”, Carey Mulligan por “An Education”, Gabourey Sidibe por “Precious” y Meryl Streep por “Julie & Julia”. Con este anuncio, Streep ha logrado obtener la apabullante cifra de 16 nominaciones al Oscar.

En cuanto a Mejor Actor, los nombres que competirán son: Jeff Bridges por “Crazy Heart”, George Clooney por “Up in the Air”, Colin Firth por “A Single Man”, Morgan Freeman por “Invictus”, y Jeremy Renner por “The Hurt Locker”.
